Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable gift.” The Apostle Paul penned these words to the Corinthian church many years ago, but their meaning still resounds to born-again believers today. At this time of year, when we celebrate the birth of our Saviour, we would all agree that the gift God gave us through His Son exceeds anything else we could receive in this life. Our sin debt was great, but God’s grace and power to save were even greater!

Each week that we gather in AWANA, this banner of God’s love and plan to redeem mankind is the focal point of our time spent together. Teachers diligently prepare to present their lessons. The kitchen staff prepares tasty snacks for the children.  Game leaders challenge the kids with exciting AWANA games.  Through all the efforts that everyone puts forth each week, our main goal is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ.  When that seed is planted in their lives, we must then rely on the Holy Spirit to draw them to Christ for salvation.

From all of those involved in the AWANA ministry, we want to say a special thanks to everyone in the church who support this outreach to the young people of our community. Your prayers and financial support are a true blessing. Continue to pray that God will help each of us share the gift of His Son with the children this coming year.
